The Case For It
Why regular beats occasional
A car cleaned every few months and a car cleaned every month are not the same car with different schedules. The difference is what gets the chance to bond to the paint in between.
- Contamination etches with time. Bird droppings and tree sap are acidic and start marking clear coat within days in warm weather. Removed quickly they leave nothing; left for a month they leave a permanent mark.
- Traffic film builds in layers. Once it has been through a few wet and dry cycles it stops washing off and starts needing chemical decontamination.
- Brake dust is corrosive when hot. On wheels it bonds into the finish and eventually pits it.
- Interiors are easier to keep than to rescue. A stain wiped this week is nothing. The same stain in three months has cured into the fibre.
The practical result is that maintained cars need far less correction work, and hold their finish for years rather than needing machine polishing to recover it.

What happens if it rains on my scheduled day?
We rearrange, usually to the next day or two. Light drizzle is workable for a maintenance wash, but heavy rain makes a proper job impossible and we would rather move it than do it badly. You are not charged for a visit we have moved.
Can I pause or cancel the plan?
Yes. Pause it for a holiday, a car off the road or a spell abroad, and pick it back up when you need it. It is a standing arrangement rather than a fixed contract, and we would rather keep customers because the work is good than because they cannot get out of it.
Will the same person clean my car each time?
Wherever possible, yes. Someone who has cleaned your car before knows where it collects dirt, which wheels take the brake dust and which trim needs care, and the result is better for it.
Does regular valeting really protect the paint?
